Nacht und Nebel

아우슈비츠의 비극을 처음으로 이미지에 담아낸 작품으로 역사의 비극이 우리의 기억에 남아 있는 정신적인 상흔임을 보여준다. 평화로운 현재의 풍경과 캠프의 잔해를 천천히 비추는 카메라의 트래킹 쇼트, 흑백 다큐 화면과 과거 시제의 내레이션을 교차시키면서 레네는 비극의 책임이 누구에게 있는가를 준엄하게 묻고 있다. 트뤼포는 이 영화를 가리켜 "비평이 불가능한 영화다. 이 영화는 다큐멘터리나 고발 혹은 시가 아니라, 20세기 가장 중요했던 현상에 대한 반성"이라고 말했다.

결국 눈물이 흐른다. 이 사람을 대통령으로 만드는데 어떻게든 도움이 되고 싶었다. 신촌 노사모에도 가입하고, 작지만 후원금도 보내드렸다. 한마디 한마디에 힘이 실릴때마다 뿌듯했고 힘이 되는 시간이었다. 선거전날 새벽까지 뉴스보다가 열받아서 잠못 들었고, 밤을 세운 뒤 아침 6시부터 주변사람들에게 전화해서 꼭 투표하라고 했었다. 병곤이형 추어탕집에서 모두 모여 만세를 외칠때에도, 1년동안은 절대로 보지 않겠다고 다짐했던 한국소식을 결국 대통령의 탄핵소식으로 연결했을때에도, 한발짝도 움직일 수 없었던 콜체스터의 작은 플랏에서 그에 관한 뉴스를 느려터진 인터넷으로 빠짐없이 읽을 때에도, 바로 엊그제 버스에서 내리는 모습을 착잡한 심정으로 보고 있을때에도 오늘같이 비통한 일이 생길거라고 생각지도 못했다. 언젠가 딸과 함께 봉하마을에 가서 아빠가 존경했던 분이라고 인사도 시켜드리고 싶었는데..
부탁이다. 진짜 사람사는 세상을 만들기 위해 온 몸을 받친 이사람을 쓰레기같은 인간들과 비교하지 마라. 선거때마다 오늘 얘기를 하겠지. 다 똑같은 개새끼들.
어떤 사진을 올려야될지도 모르겠다.
휴우. 결국 하루종일 아무일도 손에 잡히지 않는다.
우리가 시작했고,우리가 끝냈다.

조선 건국 이래로 600년 동안 우리는
권력에 맞서 권력을 한번도 바꿔보지 못했고
비록 그것이 정의라 할지라도

권력이 싫어하는 말을 했던 사람은 또는 진리를 내세워서 권력에 저항했던 사람은
전부 죽임을 당했고 그 자손들까지 멸문지화를 당했다. 패가망신했다.
600년 동안 한국에서 부귀영화를 누리고자 하는 사람은
모두 권력에 줄을 서서 손바닥을 비비고 머리를 조아려야 했다.
그저 밥이라도 먹고 살고 싶으면 세상에서 어떤 부정이 저질러져도,
어떤 불의가 눈앞에서 벌어지고 있어도,
강자가 부당하게 약자를 짓밟고 있어도 모른척하고 고개 숙이고 외면 했어야 했던,
눈감고 귀를 막고 비굴한 삶을 사는 사람만이
목숨을 부지하기 위해서 밥이라도 먹고 살 수 있었던 우리 600년의 역사
제 어머니가 제게 남겨주었던 제 가훈은
"야 이놈아, 모난 돌이 정맞는다. 계란으로 바위치기다.
바람부는 대로 물결치는 대로 눈치보며 살아라"
80년대 시위하다가 감옥 간 우리의 정의롭고 혈기넘치는 우리 젊은 아이들에게
그 어머니들이 간곡히 간곡히 타일렀던 그들의 가훈 역시
"야 이놈아, 계란으로 바위치기다. 그만 두어라. 너는 뒤로 빠져라"
이 비겁한 교훈을 가르쳤던 우리의 600년의 역사, 이 역사를 청산해야 합니다.
권력에 맞서서 당당하게 권력을 한번 쟁취하는 우리의 역사가 이루어져야 만이
이제 비로소 우리의 젊은이들이 떳떳하게 정의를 얘기할 수 있고
뜻있게 불의에 맞설 수 있는 새로운 역사를 만들어 낼 수 있다!

A green room is a room in a theater, studio, or other public venue for the accommodation of performers or speakers when not required on the stage.
Its function is as a break/touch-up lounge so that performers do not have to go back to wardrobe/dressing rooms and are still easily accessible for their call.

지형은 선캄브리아대의 화강암, 편마암을 기저층으로 한 중생대 백악기의 지층이다. 바닷물에 침식되어 퇴적한 절벽이 마치 수만 권의 책을 쌓아놓은 듯하다. 주변의 백사장, 맑은 물과 어울려 풍치가 더할 나위 없다. 채석강이라는 이름은 중국 당의 이태백이 배를 타고 술을 마시다가 강물에 뜬 달을 잡으려다 빠져 죽었다는 채석강과 흡사하여 지어진 이름이다.
누군가에겐 '멍'이라 불림. 고맙다 얘들아. T.T

Taking Woodstock is the new film from Academy Award-winning director Ang Lee - and it’s a trip! Based on the memoirs of Elliot Tiber, the comedy stars Demetri Martin as Elliot, who inadvertently played a role in making 1969’s Woodstock Music and Arts Festival into the famed happening it was. Featuring a standout ensemble cast, and songs from a score of ’60s musical icons including The Grateful Dead, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, and Country Joe and the Fish - plus a new recording of “Freedom” from Richie Havens - Taking Woodstock is a joyous voyage to a moment in time when everything seemed possible. Working as an interior designer in Greenwich Village, Elliot feels empowered by the gay rights movement. But he is also still staked to the family business - a dumpy Catskills motel called the El Monaco that is being run into the ground by his overbearing parents, Jake and Sonia Teichberg (Henry Goodman and Imelda Staunton). In the summer of 1969, Elliot has to move back upstate to the El Monaco in order to help save the motel from being taken over by the bank. Upon hearing that a planned music and arts festival has lost its permit from the neighboring town of Wallkill, NY, Elliot calls producer Michael Lang (Jonathan Groff) at Woodstock Ventures to offer his family’s motel to the promoters and generate some much-needed business. Elliot also introduces Lang to his neighbor Max Yasgur (Eugene Levy), who operates a 600-acre dairy farm down the road. Soon the Woodstock staff is moving into the El Monaco - and half a million people are on their way to Yasgur’s farm for “3 days of Peace & Music in White Lake.” With a little help from his friends, including theater troupe leader Devon (Dan Fogler), recently returned Vietnam veteran Billy (Emile Hirsch), and cross-dressing ex-Marine Vilma (Liev Schreiber) - and with a little opposition from townspeople, including Billy’s brother Dan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) - Elliot finds himself swept up in a generation-defining experience that would change his life - and popular culture - forever.
