Reminiscence
"농구 좋아하세요.?"
이 한마디로 시작되었다. 나..농구 정말 좋아했었다.
옛날처럼, NBA 모든 팀과 선수들의 이름을 외울 순 없지만, 지금도 농구를 무척 좋아한다.
음, 내가 농구를 좋아했던 시절은 농구대잔치에서 기아자동차의 김유택과 강동희와 허재가 풀파워로 뛰던 그 시절이다.
이노우에 타케히코가 1억권 돌파기념 행사로 일본카나가와현 폐교내 칠판에 분필로 직접 그렸던 그림을 통채로 실어버렸다. 엄청난 스크롤이 예상된다.
지구가 멸망하고, 다시 탄생되고, 인류가 다시 새로운 문화를 창조해낸다고 해도 절대, 절대로 슬램덩크를 뛰어넘을 만한 만화는 탄생되지 못할것이다.
전 우주를 통털어 가장 재밌는 만화이며, 언제봐도 즐거운 그림이다.

Exhibition
Toshi had a new exhibition in Nagoya, Japan.
This work represented his situation, feeling and his important relations.
The blue colour is himself, the green colour depicts his friend, the pink colour is his lover and the red colour illustrated his mother. It is hanging from the gallery's ceiling and rolling by motor. It is a kind of mobile art work. In particular, children and old people liked it.
I really appreciate your concerned about me. I am so moved.

1. Incivility : 미국 대선토론에서 민주·공화 양당이 보인 ‘무례(incivility)’가 미국 사전 사이트 유어딕셔너리(Yourdictionary.com)가 선정한 올해의 영어단어이다.
난 무례와 목소리의 크기가 절대적으로 비례한다고 믿는다. 얼마 되지 않은 작년, 새로 이사 온 집의 윗집에 살았던 사람들의 무례에 나는 참다참다 못해 결국 레터를 날렸고, 그 사람들은 나의 레터에 공포를 느꼈는지 이사를 가버렸다. 그 뒤로 지금까지 아주 조용하고 행복하게 살고 있다. 이유는 매일같이 밤 늦도록 잠 안자고 떠들어 대는 한국 사람들의 큰 목소리때문이었다. 편지를 보내는 방법은 이곳의 조용한 문화와 예절이지만, 나는 승리했다. 일본 애들은 태어날때부터 평생동안 남에게 폐를 끼치지 말라는 교육을 받는다. 개인간의 시각차가 워낙 커서 다소 이기적으로 들릴 수 있지만, 그렇게 살아야할 필요가 좀 있다. 문화의식이 경제발전을 따라가지 못해서 생긴 부작용은 수도 없는데, 이 무례한 예절교육도 그 중의 하나이다. 중국애들과 일본애들이 어떻게 다르게 행동하는지, 같은 공간에서 조용히 지켜면 알수있다. 중국의 80년대생들은 그들이 출생했을 당시의 인구정책과 고속 경제성장으로 인한 엄청난 혜택을 받고 자랐지만, 20년이란 문화의 벽을 단순한 경제의 힘으로 뛰어넘으려 하고 있기 때문에, 그들의 사고방식과 행동에서 많은 문제점을 찾아볼 수 있다. 한국은 중국과 일본의 중간쯤 되게 행동한다. 하지만, 거대한 대륙이나 철저한 노예근성도 찾아볼 수없기 때문에 세배쯤 더 두드려 맞는다는 사실을 깨달아야 할것이다.
2. Blogsphere : 공공웹사이트의 참여보다는 개인의 힘이 점차로 강해지고 있다. Kingston2004 의 대략적인 실패로 Blog 의 파워를 피부로 느끼고 있다.
3. Flip Flop : 공화당과 민주당의 말바꾸기? 여의도를 보세요.
4. Red states, Blue states : 호남이고 영남이고 필요없다. 서울이여 영원하라.
5. Moral values : 정치와 상관없이..음...언제쯤 한국에서 간통죄가 없어질 수 있을까? 이것도 관습헌법의 일종인가? 아니면,,,여기가 간통의 천국이야?
6. Two Americas : 오직 지방과 서울뿐이다.
