The Simpsons celebrates a milestone never met by any animated series ever. December 17th 2008 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Simpson’s own weekly series, now in its staggering 20th season.
In reality The Simpsons hit 20 last year since its first incarnation was in 30 second shorts on the Tracey Ullman Show between segments, but this day is the 20th Anniversary of the very first episode of the Simpsons show ever on Television.
The Simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series is a satirical parody of the middle class American lifestyle epitomized by its titular family, which consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. The show is set in the fictional town of Springfield, and lampoons many aspects of the human condition including American culture, society, and television.

전북도립미술관에서는 최근에 더욱 침체된 지역 미술계가 안고 있는 어려움을 조금이나마 해소하고 공공 미술관으로의 역할과 기능에 충실하고자 올해 일련의 지역미술 활성화 프로젝트를 신규사업으로 추진하였습니다.
현재 추진 중인<수도권 전시개최 지원사업>을 비롯하여<전시기획 공모전>,<미술로 소통하기전> 등이며 계기마련과 관심을 불러일으키는 소기의 성과를 거두었습니다.
<2008 전북청년작가전>은 위의 사업과 같은 맥락에서 추진되는 올해 마지막 전시사업으로 지역을 근거로 활발하게 활동하고 있는 청년자가 52인을 선정, 초대하여 발표의 장을 마련하였습니다. 참신하고 실험적이며 열정 많은 이들 청년작가들은 작품을 통해 그들 각자의 순수함과 개성을 뽐냅니다. 이러한 장을 통하여 우리는 전북미술의 미래를 가늠해 볼 수 있으리라 기대해 봅니다.이번 전시가 열악한 환경에서도 꾸준히 창작활동을 해오고 있는 지역의 젊은 작가들의 힘을 북돋고 그들에게 용기를 불어넣어주는 계기가 되기를 간절히 바랍니다.

가을의 정취를 느껴보기도 전에 겨울이 성큼 다가온 것 같습니다. 2008년 올 한해 결심하셨던 일들 모두 이루어 내셨는지, 행복한 한해였는지 궁금합니다. 서신갤러리는 올 한해를 마무리하는 의미로 송년모임과 더불어 연말, 연시 기획전을 마련하였습니다.
올해로 4회를 맞이하는 ‘꽃피는 미술시장展’은 발표와 판매를 하나로 연결시키고 관람객에게는 다양한 작품을 한 공간에서 감상 할 수 있는 기회를 마련합니다.
여러 가지 어려운 일로 얼어 붙은 마음을 미술의 향기로 훈훈하게 덥히는 전시가 되었으면 합니다.

CBNU'08.
너희들 작품 다른 학교 학생들에게 보여줬는데,
다들 Ending Credit 의 내얼굴 보고 웃더라.
다음부터는 꼭 웃겨야 되는 부분에 내 얼굴을 집어넣으면 관객들이 더욱 더 즐거워할거 같다.
다만, 관객들이 내 얼굴을 알아야 웃어줄텐데. 음. 그게 좀 걱정이야.
썰렁한 얘기는 이제 그만.
그동안 고맙고 즐거웠어.
