Metempsychosis
Nam June Paik passed away at his Miami home at 8:00pm EST on Sunday, January 29th, 2006. Funeral information to be announced.
Paik's journey as an artist has been truly global, and his impact on the art of video and television has been profound.To foreground the creative process that is distinctive to Paik's artwork, it is necessary to sort through his mercurial movements, from Asia through Europe to the United States, and examine his shifting interests and the ways that individual artworks changed accordingly. It is my argument that Paik's prolific and complex career can be read as a process grounded in his early interests in composition and performance. These would strongly shape his ideas for mediabased art at a time when the electronic moving image and media technologies were increasingly present in our daily lives. In turn, Paik's work would have a profound and sustained impact on the media culture of the late twentieth century; his remarkable career witnessed and influenced the redefinition of broadcast television and transformation of video into an artist's medium.

진짜 입니다.
드디어 성공했습니다. 아직 x86용 nvidia driver 가 정식 릴리즈 되지 않아서 vesa 버전 1280x1024 으로 밖에는 사용할 수 없지만, cs2, iPhoto, combustion 심지어 aperture 까지 돌아갑니다. nvidia driver만 정식으로 릴되는 날에는 finalcut, shake, maya 가 돌아갈것 같습니다. 기대해주십시오.

/ Woo Jin Jeon
Woo Jin Jeon has been participated in many fine art, design, animation and computer graphics exhibitions in Seoul, Jeonju, Asia and Europe countries. He is also doing post-production works for commercial and non-commercial short films and animated-films. Recently, he focus on hybrid moving images with new media art technology that based on mythological story from orientals and Western style and he also represent moving painting images about life and reincarnation that mixed with nature.
He is also teaching Time-Based Media Arts, Computer Animation, Communication Graphics and in various universities in South Korea.

It's been about a week since I posted an interview so I'm pleased to be presenting a brief chat I had with one local artistic genius known as Souther Salazar. Souther, who seems to do nothing uninteresting, agreed to chat on the condition that he be able to answer each question in only five words.
